High-performance processing for complex kinematics

The M1120 series extends the portfolio of compact Industrial PCs for highly complex automation and robotics applications. Whether for multi-axis motion control, multi-camera machine vision, or the handling of large sensor data volumes: through the integration of 12th generation Intel® Core™ processors ranging from the 15W i3 to the 28W i7-1270P, the M1120 provides a high-performance central computing platform. Supported by up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory and Intel Iris Xe Graphics, it covers the most demanding real-time control and edge AI tasks in a highly compact footprint.

Direct sensor and vision integration

To meet the rigorous requirements of mobile automation and process control, the M1120 incorporates an exceptionally wide choice of specialized interfaces. Four 4-lane MIPI interfaces enable the direct integration of high-resolution cameras without external grabbers, while 2 CANBus ports and 2 dedicated encoder interfaces facilitate precise motor and axis control. Completed by an integrated Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and 44 channels of digital I/O (24 DI, 20 DO), the PC acts as the centerpiece for complex spatial awareness and actuator management.

Industrial design and flexible communication

The cable-free aluminum housing (192 x 107 x 82 mm) is optimized for installation in space-restricted environments. Four Intel i210 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces handle network-intensive routing, complemented by six serial ports for standard field device communication. Modern peripheral connection is realized via three USB Type-C ports, including DisplayPort support for operator HMIs. Continuous operation in harsh machine environments is guaranteed by a 9 to 36 V DC wide-voltage input with optional UPS integration, supporting temperatures from 0 to 60°C.
