Enough Ports for Standard Industrial Edge Deployments

Field deployments rarely involve a single device.The E205 provides 2 x 2.5GbE LAN ports alongside 3 USB 3.0 and 2 COM ports, giving engineers the connectivity to integrate PLCs and serial devices simultaneously without an extra switch or hub. For applications requiring wireless connectivity, the internal M.2 slot supports 4G/5G and Wi-Fi module expansion without the need to add cables to the enclosure.

At 172 x 125 x 50mm and 1.0kg, the E205 is the slimmest option in the Apollo Lake lineup, fitting where even other compact systems cannot. Wall mount and DIN rail installation options accommodate the physical constraints of the tightest control cabinet installations. Designed for fanless embedded computing, passive cooling keeps operation silent and maintenance-free at temperatures from 0 to 60°C.

Up to 64GB Memory for Data-Intensive Edge Workloads

The Intel Elkhart Lake platform delivers reliable computing within a 12W TDP envelope. What sets the E205 apart is dual-channel DDR4 support with up to 64GB capacity, giving edge applications the memory headroom to buffer large datasets, run multiple concurrent processes, and handle real-time data aggregation without hitting a memory ceiling. Integrated Intel Gen11 Graphics covers dual display output via DP and HDMI for HMI visualization alongside control logic.

Stable Operation Through Power Surges and Voltage Fluctuations

The E205 accepts a wide 9 to 36V DC input, handling the voltage surges and fluctuations common in factory and vehicle environments. An optional built-in UPS module protects against unexpected power loss, while the cable-free modular internal architecture removes a common failure point in high-vibration settings. Watchdog timer and TPM 2.0 round out the reliability features.
